2016 DEVELOPMENTS FROM BRANCHES

The secretariat received an overwhelmed number of development reports from branches.  Some branches as part of their fundraising activities were involved in farming while others conducted big walks to raise money for their planned activities.  Most of the big walks were initiated by the Deaf Trainers like,  With this example many branches copied  and  requested permit letters from the secretariat. Below are pictures from branches that the secretariat received

Mzuzu

Lilongwe

Blantyre

With carpentry tools donated by the secretariat the branch  opened a carpentry and joinery workshop where they are making furnitures for sale. The secretariat decided to donate the tools after noting that most of the deaf people not employed. The picture below shows some of the group members doing voluntary repairing MANAD office broken furniture.

Nkhatabay
