With the aim of promoting the Basic Sign Language across Malawi, MANAD with the Funding from Finish Association of the Deaf (FAD) conducted a Malawian Sign Language Teacher training where selected candidates from various districts across the country were trained as Teachers of Basic Sign Language with hope to train more people in their respective areas. The training was held in Liwonde from 3 to 6 August 2022.
