Malawi National association of the Deaf (MANAD) conducted a stakeholder meeting on 1st November 2022 at Segacoa Golden Peacock Hotel, Lilongwe. MANAD called upon different stakeholders in Lilongwe to express the need for Sign Language amongst the deaf communities and the importance of sign language to deaf people as far as communication is concerned. The workshop was aimed at sharing some major challenges faced by the deaf community due to lack of sign language in different work sectors. MANAD plea to government and stakeholders in promoting sign language to reach across the country.
