With financial support from the Finish Association of the Deaf (FAD) MANAD conducted a 2 days’ workshop on capacity building to deaf women and youth which were selected from various districts across the country. these deaf participants were selected to represent the MANAD branch at the district level. the training focused on topic such as gender-based violence, youth and women right, sexual reproductive healthy right and CRPD. Edna and Fanny, deaf women who represented Malawi at the WFD human rights workshop also facilitated the training. The training was held on 28 June 2023 at Community Development Training Centre in Liwonde.
