Malawi National Association of the Deaf (MANAD) attended the world hearing day commemoration at Chichiri secondary school on 2 March 2023. During the event MANAD briefed the crowd on the importance of having knowledge in sign language and how the coming of the MSL dictionary will improve the communication gap between the hearing community and the deaf community. MANAD demonstrated the use of the MSL dictionary. World hearing day is commemorated every year on 3 march and this year’s commemoration theme “Ear and hearing care for all.”
