MANAD team recently Sensitized parents/guardians of children suspected to have deafness and the importance of sending the children to school in Blantyre and Phalombe, the parents/ guardians also received a short basic SL training and copies of the Malawian Sign Language Dictionary and other reading materials to help the children in the sign language acquisition. A total of 46 parents attended the training from both districts.
