Save the Children Malawi in collaboration with Malawi National Association of the Deaf – MANAD trains basic sign language skills to parents and Special Needs Teachers of Deaf children in Neno at Chikonde TDC. The participants have been drawn from different- primary schools, health workers and other stakeholders. Neno District Primary Education Advisor Queen Sagawa thanked MANAD and Save the Children for the successful training they had as they learned lots of basic sign languages that will ease the communication gap between the hearing and Deaf people. Training funded by Save the Children, and it took four days.
