The Malawi National Association of the Deaf (MANAD) recently conducted a workshop aimed at improving inclusive education and early childhood development in Malawi. During the workshop, participants reviewed the National Inclusive Education Strategy (NIES) and the National Integrated Early Childhood Development Policies, which were developed to promote government policy on inclusive education. The event took place from 11th to 13th February 2024 in Liwonde. The gaps identified in these two documents will be presented to education authorities for further action
