We took part in the World Hearing Day 2024 event at Mulunguzi Secondary School in Zomba on 1st March 2024. World Hearing Day is observed every year on 3rd March, which is a public holiday in Malawi. This year, the theme was “Changing Mindsets: Let’s Make Ear and Hearing Care a Reality for All!” At the event, both Deaf and hearing people showcased various activities. MANAD provided information about the Malawian Sign Language Dictionary and other digital books.
