In preparation of the 2024 advocacy work, the MANAD advocacy committee held their meeting today at Salima where the discussion of 2024 International week of Deaf people and International Day for Sign Languages was raised as a major topic. During the meeting, the committee focused on the challenges and successes of the previous IDW and ISLD commemoration and the way forward, efforts will be made to ensure the 2024 commemoration is a success. The meeting was held on 18 May 2024 with the funding from Finish Association of the Deaf (FAD).
