MANAD branch members trained in ICT and news reporting

With financial support from Finish Association of the Deaf – Kuurojen Littory, MANAD is currently conducting a joint ICT and News reporting training from 5 April 2025 to 8 April 2025 in Liwonde.

The purpose of the training is to provide basic ICT skills and knowledge to some of the branch members in providing professional and quality information updates of various activities held in their branches. The training is also an emphasis of equipping these members with the basic knowledge on the use of various gadgets in accordance to the social media updates and the use of internet.

There is hope that this training will make a difference where there will be an improvement in reporting of up-to-date posts, events and activities happening in the deaf communities for the media consumption.

MANAD branches participating are: Blantyre, Lilongwe, Mzimba, Ntchisi, Chiradzulu, Nthyolo, Dedza, Salima, Rumphi, Mangochi, Nkhotakota, Balaka, Ntcheu.
