Audiologists from Montfort Johanna and Esther paid MANAD a visit at our offices in Njamba where we discussed and shared a number of important factors in deaf and sign language acquisition. In the picture below the MANAD Sign Language Research team with the Linguistic Advisor Jarkko Keranen are in a group photo with Audiologist Johanna, the meeting was a success where we learned a lot from each other, and the discussion further tackled the in-depth relationship between the acquisition of Sign Language and the development of deaf children aged from 0-5 years which remains a big challenge in Malawi.
