THE LAUNCH OF 2022 INTERNATIONAL DEAF WEEK
MANAD has today started commemorating the 2022 International Deaf Week, launched by the Deputy Minister of Gender Community Development and Social Welfare Hon Agness Nkusa Nkhoma on Monday 19th September 2022 in Lilongwe.
STAKEHOLDERS AND PARENTS BSIC SIGN LANGUAGE TRAINING
Today 22nd September with support from Save the Children International and the Finish Association of the Deaf, we carried out basic sign language training for parents of Deaf Children and Different stakeholders. The training was held in Zomba with the aim of bridging the communication gap among the deaf society and the hearing society.
