On the way to Chitipa, the secretariat and the board chairperson paid a surprise visit to Karonga School for the Deaf where they interacted with the deaf students and disseminated two copies of Malawian Sign Language Dictionary to the school. The team also motivated the students to pursue their studies regardless in order to have a better future. The meeting was held on 5 June 2024.
